HistoryColcom, Inc. offers a consultative approach to the purchase of clinical and lab equipment.
"In 1970, my dad, Joe Collins, started Colcom out of his garage, with a vision to promote the best, most reliable and most appropriate equipment to his customers, all while trying to earn a living to provide for our family. Joe established Colcom as a leader in the Tri-State area for several manufacturers of lab and clinical equipment. Several of our manufacturers we have represented for over 30 years. In 2004, I joined the Colcom team in the hopes to continue this vision. While my dad has moved to full retirement, the team at Colcom continues to follow the mantra that only the best will do. In 2025, Ed Kruopas joined the Colcom team, bringing over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and healthcare distribution to create value for organizations and their customers. Our hope is that you find your experience with Colcom on every level as accountable, knowledgable, trustworthy, ethical, and enjoyable.
